One night stand with nature

It has been a while since I last went camping with mates. Since my close friend, Ecah is back in KL on a short leave , so we decided to go camping somewhere near to Kuala Lumpur. Destination picked which is Sg Pisang located in Gombak, Selangor.

Saturday morning, all of us gather in Damai for a rock climbing session at first. Had our lunch and head to Alang Sedayu recreational area which located about 10KM from Shell+McD & Petronas+BurgerKing just before the Gombak-Karak tol. Remain left and take the UIA exit and reached Alang Sedayu in 15minutes.
Parking spaces a limited here, and the road is narrow. There are few resorts available here, to name a few; Jungle Lodge & Sedayu Camp. Packed our bags, locked our cars and off we go. Tips: if you plan to leave your car overnight, please ensure that there is no bags or anything valuable in the car (thief may just break into your car for a few loose change that you left inside).
1st, to cross the river to the other side. Then walked about 10 minutes, we reached two big tunnel which act as the underpass beneath the Gombak - Karak highway. Warning : frogs love these tunnels, especially at night. Beware when walking through, u might not want to step on them. If you are afraid of dark, do bring along a torchlight.
There is two ways to reach the waterfall, either follow the stream upward or walk along the highway. We decided to go straight ahead and ignore the long high step stairs toward the highway on our right. The stream is mostly about ankle deep but beware of those bloodsuckers (pacat). About 30-minutes after, we finally reached the waterfall.

Sadly, our favourite campsite spot has been taken by other campers. So, we decided to go further up till our friends campsite.
Set up our fly & ground, and finish just in time for BBQ. Dinner, we had chicken & lamb BBQ, BBQ'ed cocktail hotdog, tomyam, telur dadar, ayam masak merah & rice. After dinner we played Monopoly for the next 6.5 hours. The game finally ended at 0330hours with Keyna as the winner. Sleep and was awake at 0800 the next morning.
Had breakfast and its time to wrap things up. Joined the Canyoning D'Malaysia event at the waterfall. Canyoning is an abseiling activity which is carry out at waterfall. The event cost RM50 per person which include with briefing, equipment & lunch. Each participant was given the opportunity to do it twice (depending on few factor). All you need to bring along is a good rubber outsole to do this activiy. Any enquiries you may drop me a comment, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
At about 1400hours, me and few others start heading back to Alang Sedayu. This time we use the highway to get back, still using the tunnel as the underpass to get onto the other side. The trip has been swell, and I really love the 'silence'. I managed to get in and out without being bitter by those bloodsuckers!

Thanx alot to the team who helped around during this trip. Skill aku ke hutan dah berkarat, nak kena asah slow2 balik.. Im sorry if ade yg terkurang - terlebih yea.. Jgn serik for next trip.
